Lebanese Laique Pride

 

للمرة الأولى في لبنان منذ نهاية الحرب الأهلية ، مسيرة العلمانيين نحو المواطَنة

تُنظِّم مجموعة من المواطنين اللبنانيين في 25 أنيسان 2010 مسيرةً تطالب بالتطبيق الكامل للمادة (ج) من ديباجة الدستور اللبناني: "احترام حرية الرأي والمعتقد"، و"العدالة الاجتماعية "، و"المساواة في الحقوق والواجبات بين جميع المواطنين دون تمييز أو تفضيل". فهم يأملون عبر هذه المبادرة أن يجمعوا ويثبتوا وجود مواطنين و جمعيات تسعى من أجل مجتمع مدني علماني.

إنّ المطالب الأساسية المذكورة في النداء الصادر عن هذه الحركة الوطنيّة تتعلق بقانون مدني للأحوال الشخصيّة يحترم حقوق الإنسان ويحقق المساواة التامة بين المرأة والرجل، وبتعزيز التعليم الرسمي في خدمة التربية على المواطَنة، وبضمان تكافؤ فرص التوظيف في القطاع العام على أساس الكفاءة.

لن تتوقف المجموعة عند هذا الحدّ ، فمسيرة 25 نيسان هي نقطة انطلاق سلسلة من النشاطات الرامية إلى رفع مستوى الوعي حول الحاجة الملحة للتفكير بالمواطَنة اللبنانية الحقيقية. وفي إطار هذه النشاطات، من المتوقّع تنظيم ندوات ونقاشات في الجامعات وغيرها من الأوساط الثقافيّة والفنيّة والإعلاميّة.

 

معلومات عمليّة:

- يتمّ التجمّع في عين المريسة أمام تمثال عبد الناصر، وينطلق في تمام الساعة الحادية عشر بإتجاه مجلس النواب.

- مطلوب من اللبنانيين الموجودين خارج لبنان التجمّع في اليوم ذاته عند الساعة الحادية عشر ( بالتوقيت المحليّ) أمام السفارة أو القنصلية اللبنانيّة الأقرب إليهم.

نحن مواطنات ومواطنون لبنانيون نريد أن نعيش بكرامة وأن نتمتع بحقوقنا وأن نقوم بواجباتنا بالتساوي مع أي مواطن آخر.

أقوياء بالحقوق والحريات العامة والخاصة التي كفلها الدستور اللبناني، نطالب:

- بعدم تدخل الدين في شؤون الدولة كما عدم تدخل الدولة في دين المواطن.

- بتحرير ممثلي الشعب من ولائهم لزعماء الطوائف وللنظام الطائفي.

- بقوانين تحترم حقوق الإنسان والمساواة التامة بين المرأة والرجل.

- بقانون مدني للأحوال الشخصية.

- بتعزيز التعليم الرسمي من أجل التنشئة على المواطنية.

- بضمان مساواة الفرص في الوظائف العامة على أسس الكفاءة.

- بسلطة قضائيّة مستقلّة تحمي حقوق المواطن وتغنيه من اللجوء الى مجتمعه العشائري.في ٢٥ نيسان ٢٠١٠، سنسير معاً من اجل "علمانية لبنانية". فلنثبت وجودنا ونعطي وجوهاً لمطالبنا!يُقام التجمع في عين المريسة لتنطلق مسيرتنا الساعة الحادية عشر صباحاً باتجاه مبنى البرلمان.

العلم الوحيد الذي سيُرفع خلال المسيرة هو علم لبنان.

 

اللبنانيون في الخارج مدعوون الى التجمع في نفس النها وفي الساعة ١١ صباحاً (توقيت محلّي) امام السفارة او القنصلية اللبنانية الاقرب لهم .

 

ملاحظة هامة: تصدر هذه المبادرة عن حركة مواطنيّة لن تقبل مهما كان أن تكون مصادرة من أي جهة سياسيّة.

POUR LA PREMIÈRE FOIS AU LIBAN DEPUIS LA FIN DE LA GUERRE CIVILE, UNE MARCHE LAÏQUE POUR LA CITOYENNETÉ.

Dimanche 25 Avril 2010 à Beyrouth.

 

Un collectif de citoyens libanais organise le 25 Avril 2010 une marche qui réclame l'application intégrale de l'article (c) du préambule de la Constitution Libanaise: "le respect de la liberté d'opinion et de croyance", "la justice sociale" et "l'égalité des droits et des devoirs entre tous les citoyens sans discrimination ni préférence". Ils souhaitent à travers cette initiative réunir et assurer la visibilité de citoyens et associations oeuvrant pour une société civile laïque.

Les principales revendications formulées dans l'appel lancé par ce mouvement citoyen portent sur un code civil libanais pour le statut personnel respectant les droits de l'homme ainsi que l'égalité entre la femme et l'homme; le renforcement de l'enseignement public au service de l'éducation à la citoyenneté; et la garantie de l'égalité des chances face à l'emploi dans le service public sur la base des compétences.

Le collectif ne compte pas en rester là. La marche du 25 Avril est le point de départ d'une série d'actions qui tendent à faire prendre conscience de l'urgence de réflechir à une vraie citoyenneté libanaise. Parmi ces actions, il est prévu d'organiser des conférences et des débats dans des universités et autres cadres culturels et mediatiques.

 

Infos pratiques:

Le rassemblement aura lieu à Ain El Mraisse devant la statue de Abdel Nasser, et partira à 11h précise en direction du Parlement.

Les libanais a l'étranger sont appelés à de rassembler le même jour, à 11:00 (heure locale), devant l'ambassade ou le consulat du Liban le plus proche.

Nous sommes des citoyennes et citoyens libanais qui souhaitent vivre dignement, jouir pleinement de nos droits et accomplir nos devoirs à égalité avec tout autre citoyen.

 

Forts des droits et des libertés publics et individuels garantis par la Constitution libanaise, nous revendiquons:

- la non-intervention de de la religion dans les affaires de l'Etat tout comme la non-intervention de l'Etat dans la religion du citoyen;

- la délivrance des représentants du peuple de leur allégeance aux leaders du confessionnalisme religieux;

- des lois respectant les droits de l'homme ainsi que l'égalité absolue entre la femme et l'homme;

- un code civil libanais pour le statut personnel;

- le renforcement de l'enseignement public au service de l'éducation à la citoyenneté;

- la garantie de l'égalité des chances face à l'emploi dans le service public sur la base des compétences;

- un pouvoir judiciaire indépendant qui protège le droit du citoyen et lui évite de recourir à sa communauté "tribale" .

 

Le 25 Avril 2010, nous marcherons ensemble pour une "laïcité libanaise". Nous montrerons que nous existons et donnerons un visage à nos revendications.

Le rassemblement partira à 11h de Ain El Mraisse en direction du Parlement.

Durant la marche, le seul drapeau brandi sera celui du Liban.

 Laïque Pride, a call for a secular rally for citizenship

 

 

We are Lebanese citizens seeking to live in dignity, exercise our rights and duties with equality when dealing with co-citizens.

 

Empowered by rights, public and private liberties granted to us by the Lebanese Constitution, we demand:

- non intervention of religious institutions in state affairs as much as the non intervention of the state in citizens' freedom of worship;

- independence of people's representatives from any allegiance to religious leaders and the sectarian system;

- laws respecting human rights and absolute equality between women and men;

- a Lebanese civil code for personal status;

- reinforcement of public education to promote citizenship values among coming generations;

- securing equal opportunities in employment in the public sector based on qualifications rather than religion, race or gender;

- an independent judiciary in charge of protecting citizens' rights in an attempt to circumvent the unhealthy predominant social habit of resorting to the power of kin-groups for backing.

 

On 25 April  2010, we will march for the first time for a "Secular Lebanon". Let us prove our force on the ground and give a face to our demands.

The gathering will take place at Ayn El Mrayseh, and will head off to Parliament Square at 11 AM sharp.

During the march, the only flag raised will be the Lebanese flag.

 

Lebanese in the Diaspora are invited to gather on the same day, 11.AM their local time, in front of the nearest Lebanese Embassy or Consulate.

IN A FIRST ACTION OF ITS KIND SINCE THE END OF THE CIVIL WAR, A SECULAR RALLY FOR CITIZENSHIP IS BEING ORGANIZED IN LEBANON- BEIRUT

On Sunday 25 April 2010

 

A group of Lebanese citizens are organizing a rally on 25 April 2010 to call for the full implementation of article (c) of the Lebanese Constitution's preamble: "Respect for the freedom of opinion and belief," "social justice," and "equality of rights and duties between all citizens without discrimination or preference."

The objective of this initiative is to unite and render visible the efforts of citizens and associations working towards a secular civil society.

 

The main claims of this movement relate to the Lebanese civil code for personal status stipulating respect for human rights and equality between men and women; strengthening of public education in the service of education for citizenship; and securing equal opportunities in employment in the public sector based on qualifications and competencies.

 

This collective initiative will not stop at these claims. The rally of April 25 is the starting point in a series of actions aimed at raising awareness on the urgency of reflecting upon and conceptualizing a genuine Lebanese citizenship. Among the activities planned for are conferences and debates in universities and other cultural and mediatic frameworks.

  

 

Practical information:

The meeting will take place in Ain El Mraisse - Beirut facing the Abdel Nasser statue, and the rally will depart from there at 11 am sharp in the direction of the Lebanese Parliament.
